At Digitize3D, we strive to ensure that our customers are completely satisfied with their 3D printed models. Due to the custom nature of 3D printing, we have established the following return policy.

2. Eligibility for Returns


Returns are accepted within 14 days of receipt of the product.

To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, in the original packaging, and in the same condition as when received.

Customized orders or items made to specific customer specifications are not eligible for return unless they are defective or damaged upon arrival.


3. Process for Returns


To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team at info@digitize3d.ca with your order number and reason for the return.

We will provide you with a return authorization and instructions for returning the item.


4. Refunds


Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within a certain number of days.


5. Exchanges


If you need to exchange your item for a different model, please contact us within 14 days of receipt. Exchanges are subject to the same conditions as returns.


6. Shipping Costs


Customers are responsible for paying their own shipping costs for returning items. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

3D Prototype Policy

1. OverviewAt Digitize3D, we specialize in creating high-quality 3D prototypes tailored to meet our clients' specifications. This policy outlines the terms and conditions related to the development, approval, and handling of 3D prototypes.

2. Design and Development

  • Clients are required to provide detailed specifications, designs, and any relevant materials necessary for the creation of the 3D prototype.
  • A preliminary design concept will be shared with the client for approval before the final prototype is produced.

3. Approval Process

  • Clients are allowed up to two revisions of the initial design concept free of charge. Additional revisions may incur extra fees.
  • Once the client approves the final design, production of the prototype will commence.

4. Delivery and Inspection

  • Upon completion, the prototype will be delivered to the client for inspection.
  • Clients are required to inspect the prototype within 7 days of receipt and provide feedback or approval.

5. Return Policy

Third Party 3D Print Model File Policy

1. OverviewAt Digitize3D, we facilitate the printing of third-party 3D model files provided by our clients. This policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding the submission, use, and handling of third-party 3D print model files.

2. Submission of Model Files

  • Clients must provide 3D model files in compatible formats (e.g., STL, OBJ, 3MF) for printing.
  • It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that the model files are complete, accurate, and ready for printing. Digitize3D is not responsible for any errors or issues arising from incorrect or incomplete files.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

  • Clients must possess the necessary rights and permissions to use and submit third-party 3D model files for printing. By submitting these files, clients confirm that they have the legal right to use and reproduce the designs.
  • Digitize3D does not claim ownership of any third-party model files submitted by clients. However, clients grant Digitize3D permission to use these files solely for the purpose of printing and fulfilling the order.

4. File Review and Approval

  • Upon receipt of the model files, Digitize3D will review the files for compatibility and printability. Clients will be notified if any issues are found.
  • Clients will receive a confirmation of the file's readiness for production before printing begins. If revisions are needed, clients must provide updated files promptly.

5. Printing and Production

  • Once the model file is approved, printing will commence based on the agreed-upon specifications (material, color, etc.).
  • Clients will be informed of the estimated production time and any potential delays.

6. Returns and Refunds

  • Due to the custom nature of 3D printing, returns and refunds are not accepted unless there is a defect or error in the printed item that is attributable to Digitize3D.
